Blue Hole, Santa Rosa New Mexico
This was one of the things I was most looking forward to this trip. Blue Hole off Rt. 66 in Santa Rosa NM did not disappoint us.The Blue Hole, is a geological phenomenon. The natural, bell-shaped pool is 80 feet deep and has astonishing clarity and a constant water temperature of 64 degrees. I was a little bummed out because of the cloud cover that rolled in. Even with the cloudy skies, the Blue Hole was beautiful, so blue and crystal clear!
